far as I know.. the more air you have in the tire the less it will increase through the day.
but the less air you have in the tire the more it will increase.
(always ask the tire vendor what tire pressure he recommends with the temp and riding condition of that day)

I normally start the day (Gpa 211 US) at... 28front and 20rear (off warmers)
and off the track at 31F/23R. Thats only if the day is hot.

I hear people go 25Front and 15Rear never done it but everyone just have their own personal opinion.

What works for some people may not work for others.
2 or even 3lbs will make a different on track tires.

Last time I went out on lv 2 to instruct.
went out with 20 on the rear.. came off the track with 23lbs.
then right after I went out on Lv3 and came off the track at 28rear.

Watch your tire pressure before and after.. all day long.
watch how your bike feels and pay close attension.

And no need for sliders. In my opinion they're good for fall overs. If we knew where the engine bolts were for our 1K, the sliders would come off.
Yeah but I ride a Suzuki.... Frames are made out of tin cans...I love Suzukis but facts is facts ya know

I think you're fine with the BT003RS for track days. I run the BT023 which is the their dual compound sport touring tire. Now I didn't get that tire for the track and didn't intend to use them there when I purchased them. But after 2 track days at MSRH running about 1:58-2:00 in intermediate the tires looked fine and never slid once running similar pressures to what you run, about 27psi.

Now I am not the fastest guy out there and I wouldn't want to run too much faster on some sport touring tires, but I am very confident in them so far.

The BT003RS is slightly more street oriented than the "regular" BT003. I ran the RSes.

I like to run a radial tire on the front with a nice bias ply on the rear. Usually I run 45 lbs of a special Helium/Nitrogen/Oxygen air mix in the rear and 12 lbs in the front, but I add semisynthetic 10W-50Amzoil/kerosene mix in them so they heat up and swell to 39.857 LBS constant (if Helium is doubly used instead of Nitrogen).

That's dual sport tires on my ZX10R Ninja 250 I ride like a motard.

Your results may differ.

I love reading tire threads,

Ask you tire vendor at the track, they know better than anyone.

It all depends on so many variables it's hard to tell in a general sense. Weight, temperature, speed, etc. all influence the particular brand and construction of the tire you are running and how long it will safely last. Add in an individual's skill level and there is another factor.

Good luck...sorry for the smart asshattery.

All meant in good fun.
