got pulled over 2day...

Yeah, cruising down westheimer and the fuzz pulled me over. He actually was not being an azzhole and let me go. This has happened to me b4. it seems like they are just checking for licensing insurance and registration. has this happened to anybody else?

not really. I have been harassed before. I was just saying he could have been a azzhole. In fact, I have never gotten ticket on my bike in the past 10 years. Either way, I deserve whatever ticket I get I guess. I would let my lawyer figure it out.

i got pulled over on new years eve by some dps guy with no clue.
i sat at this intersection at the top of a hill for about 1 minute. my wife and i talked about how they should put a traffic light there because visibility is not that good. a clear spot in traffic came and i made my turn to the left, entered the turn lane, and continued accellerating. i then noticed some headlights coming up behind me very quickly in the turn lane. i hit the gas harder, but nothing crazy and still within the speed limit. the headlights started swerving. my wife and i are like OH !
then the red and blue lights come on, i pull over into an empty parking lot, and the guy says he pulled me over and is ticketing me for failing to stop at an intersection or some like that.

normally, i wont give the cop any excuse because i know i did wrong or know it could have been viewed as wrong, but this time i raised my voice, told the guy how it was, and that he could check with my wife, and i raised a ... little bit of . the guy gave me a stern warning and i laughed about it and was quite relieved he didnt give me a nice time in court to fight a bs ticket.

Nope, he just pulled me over. I was at an intersection and I when I pulled out I saw his lights come on behind me. I have learned over the years that no matter who he is after you should always pull to the right, being on a bike equally so. He pulled me over and I got off the bike I took out the key and put it on the tank. Pulled out my papers and he said have a nice day. He didnt even run my plates or verify anything. He probably thought I was going to test him by running. Now, when I am at an intersection, I often pullout pretty hard but as soon as I get to the speed limit I take a lot off. I just get a kick at all the power. Maybe thats why he did it, I dont know. All I can say is, "No ticket."

Don't waste my time. Most agencies now have texassure and have had for the longest time the ability to check registration status of a vehicle, pulling someone over just to check these things when they were not breaking any laws and had legit tags visible, is being an .

With that said, I imagine OP was probably doing something against traffic law, most people are all the time, whether it be speeding, failure to signal, following to closely, ect, ect.

I was stopped the other day in spring valley, rightfully so, my displayed registration tag was out of date, but i had just come from the tax office with a new tag (lost the first one in the move) and was not putting it on cause my windshield was getting replaced that afternoon. A simple exchange with the officer, who was perfectly courteous, and less than a min later I was back on the road.
