if you look at some of the newer ones try and get one with cruise control and ABS they are awsome features i have ridden an ultra clasic with both features and the the cruise control is nice and the ABS you cant lock up i tried by slamming the brakes at 70 as hard as i could and it works well worth the extra money you will spend for it

Not!! The Street,Ultra,Road and Electra Glide are better for touring with so much more to offer than the Road King which is also a great ride but the other cruisers offer so much more, tunes and fairing with the King coming with only a wind shield....JMHO

I put 20K miles on my Road King in 18 months and then I sold it. It's too big and clumsy to be a bar hopper and not comfortable enough to be a touring bike. If you are a middle of the road guy, it's a middle of the road bike.

You may well be the sole person on the planet who doesnt think the Road King is a comfortable bike.

If he's comparing an FLHR and an FLHT, why would you suggest a FLSTN?
