Actually, they'd probably fit since I've yet to find a nut, boly or otherwise which isn't metric on mine.:eh:

Not had any problems tho, *knocking on wood*

They are built better than used to be...that's for sure!!!!
I guess it wouldn't have made a difference if Yamaha would have bought them back in the 80's, since theye are all metric now anyway!

Yeah, they are. There was a show on Discovery called Birth of the V-rod. I was amazed what went into building it and what they did for endurance testing! They took the VR1000 race motor and sent it to Porsche so it could be redesigned for long life. In fact, they determined failure would take place at a lot of miles (can't recall the count) but it surpassed it by so far that they just stopped testing there. Sure helped my decision with buying one.... besides I needed mo powa to move my girth. :icon_bigg

Naw, I wanted a Harley. I already had the paperwork completed to buy a Warrior but someone on here... I won't name names.... talked me out of buying a jap bike. :icon_bigg

+1. v-rod s not a crappy harley. they took years to even finalize a name, forget other stuff. its gonna be my baby some years down the line
