I feel bad that your the only one who makes threads here, so I thought I'd stop by :hello:

I know someone with a 2000 model vulcan (dunno which of the 3 it is) but it has very very very very few miles, like, he rode it home from the dealership, took it apart and spent 2g's on a paint job then thought it looked to good to ride ever again low miles. It still has the paper plate on it from where they bought it, He's asking above NADA value for it, on account that it really doesn't have any miles, but if someone wants it they can have it for 6500 obo =)

Heres the real thing, it was bought as a NEW bike about 4 months ago, it's a 2000 model vulcan (dunno if it's drifter, classic or classic fi, if your serious and interested i'll find out) the guy is an older guy, paid for it, had a buddy trailer it home and he just never rode it, the paint job is a factory paint job from kawasaki, he didn't have it done after he bought it. the odometer shows less than a mile.

Ok, heres the deal on the bike, and I have no reason to lie because I'm not selling it =)

It belongs to an older guy who is friends with the owner of the shop where it's parked in the picture, he wanted to get into riding bikes (or so he thought) because he never had before, and always hears the shop owner talking about how much fun it is.

SOOOOO this guy went out and bought this bike from a kawasaki shop here locally (I forgot the name but I'll ask again on monday) in december, had it trailered home but he never rode it, decided it wasn't something he wanted to do afterall.

Now heres the part that confuses me, not that I doubt his story, but because I simply don't understand, it's a 2000 model vulcan, that was sold as a NEW bike, in december 05, why would a dealer hang onto a bike for 5 years instead of just dumping it someplace? I really don't understand, the title backs it up, but I just don't understand.

If anyone is interested in the bike, I can tell you this, the shitty pictures don't do it justice, the paint job is really really something else in real life, enough to make me consider riding a cruiser even! =)

people do find overstock items , I know a guy who bought '01 harley in '05 from a dealer, where they get em , I dunno, but it is factory fresh with all warranty.
that bike looks nice and probably an easy sale.
tell him to let me "demo" it for a year and I'll get back to him on it. I'd seriously pimp it, then I could go crazy with the sporty buildup and add real boostage numbers to it.
right now though, I gotta put all into the wifes studio, trying to get it out into some frontage on 2351 and its not cheap...yikes
