I just had my front tire relaced and after picking it up I got about 2 miles down the road and my front end developed a rather loud and annoying squeek. It changes pitch and isn't a constant sound. I plan on taking it back to the shop, but was wondering if anyone had a clue about what it might be.

That sounds really strange. Did you get the same size tire? Is it rubbing up against any thing?

No, it's the same exact tire and I don't notice any rubbing... I kinda think it may be my brakes but I don't know how. I just had new pads put on last month so I'm pretty much friggin' stumped.

Well are your brakes sticking? Let your brakes cool down and then take a quick spin around the block and see if your brakes heat up too fast. Does it squeak under braking or the whole time? Is your axle bolt tightened down?

Brakes aren't sticking, and I don't think they're heating up. Squeeks constantly

Make sure they didn't overtighten the axle, make sure the axle is "centered", make sure the calipers / pads are properly installed.
Bring it back to the shop you had it done at if you can't find any issues, front end noise isn't something you want to ignore.
