Sugars can be a good think, especially in the case of a post-workout shake :)

Use dextrose and not the store bought sugar. Dextrose can be purchased at home brewing stores or probably at some place like Whole Foods.

IMO this is the cause of all the fatness in the USA: High Fructose Corn Syrup.
1. It's in EVERYTHING now days
2. Only your liver can metabolise it. Whatever your liver can't handle is turned to fat
3. Most food contains an enzyme that tells your brain that you're full (stop eating). HFCS doesn't have this. That's why you can eat a whole box of Twinkies.

Well ahead of you my friend. Dextrose and Maltodextrin :thumb: I purchase it from a wine-making place off of Stella Link and 610. The dudes there think I am slanging this shit on the streets as fake cocaine since I buy so much

good find! now I just need to find a good way to overcome the cravings. I seem to be ok for a day or two but by the third day I am craving bread or something sweet so bad that I feel as though I get anxiety until I give in. sounds crazy I know. it sucks :(

No its not crazy. You don't have to avoid all sugar just cut it back and eat in moderation.
The other key is Plan to cheat! Sounds crazy I know but PLAN TO CHEAT!
Allow yourself that slice of cake - just make it a small one and only one.
