heart rate monitor.... strapless

looking for a good one with continuous heart rate display(id like it to track all day heart rate)! dont want a chest strap either??? any input? would like to have calorimeter too. dont care if it has time function.

i was looking at a bodybugg but dont like the fact that i gotta sign up monthly.

The ones that go off of pulse dont monitor 24/7 (I dont think). I think you have to put your fingers on it to measure heart rate. I bought a polar when I started training for the MS150 and I love it. Chest strap doesnt bother me at all. It will monitor as long as I have the watch set and chest strap in place. I even slept with it one night to get my average resting heart rate and max heart rate for my sleep. haha

Captain M - you mentioned the "basic" polar - is the FS1 or FS3 enough?

does polar (or another maker) make anything that can download to a computer via USB or BT?

true, but it does it though audible clicks and chirps to your computer microphone (that is the SonicLink feature)
