One Piece
PROS - Safer

Two Piece
PROS- Easier to get into and you can replace the pants or jacket independently and wear the jacket by it's self if you choose.

1pc

ive read that the 2pc sometimes fall apart or rip at the seams when you crash. there is also a greater chance of it getting wrapped up in something if your sliding next to the bike.

Patrick at MU has some Kobes suits for sale. i really liked that suit since its really comforatble and held up very good in my highside.

Save your money and get both. You'll get every type of gear you can if you care to ride all year long. Trust me.....I've got 3 pairs of boots for different occasions, Suits for track in summer and winter. 2 piece which I seldom wear because I don't do much street anymore. 4 different type helmets all for how I feel like riding that day. It's preference on your own riding style. Please get something because you never know when you unlucky day will arrive. :eek3:

The only negative thing anyone had to say about a 1pc is the whole hassle about having to pee..... i still dont know what i want, i hate commitment.. i dont even write in ink!

Well I've never done a track day period and I'm still noobish but wouldn't mind having something for the streets and a 2pc would be alot better. Also some of them went down w/ 2 pc's and said that they held up fine. I think as long as you don't buy a shit brand your okay either way.

I think that was because they are girls. You should'nt have that problem with a 1 pc or 2 pc. Go up to MU and you can try the suits on to see what size fits you best. Hell, you might even want to buy one of his used ones while your there.

I have no idea what size you guys are, but I happen to be selling my 2 piece Areostich on ebay right now. The auction ends this evening. Jacket is a suit size 40R and the pants are a suit size 40L.

The bidding is at $475 currently. It's in as good of condition as the day I bought it. Somehow racing took me almost completely off of the street for the past 4 years! :)

What type of riding are you going to be doing? Street / Track? What percentage of each?

For Street Only I would go with a one or 2 piece synthetic suit. Way more comfrotalbe than leather here in Texas. For track only 1 piece leathers all the way.

I have a Fieldsheer Highland that I use most on the street.
