View Full Version : Riding pants opinions.
So these are the three on my short list. They aren't as cheap as I would like them to be but still very worth it if I have to "test" them. I had bought a pair of Mojave river road riding pants and really liked em, but they ran small and those turned into my wife's overpants instead of my riding pants :keke:
Anyone who has these, has used any of them, or knows of a better deal feel free to chime in :thumb:

i guess thy'll all be good textile is stronger ...but nothing beats leather though
Yeah I know leather would have the best chance of surviving the crash, but I would rather be cool w/mesh and just have to replace it than be dying in leather in houston heat

 I meant cool temperature-wise not Fonzie "HEY!" cool :thumb:
I may just stick w/regular pants and throw some knee armour on underneath...but the advantage of the riding pants is the hip protection too

Skingrafts are not cool.
Any way you slice it, your body releases sweat much easier than it releases blood.
Good luck with your hunt.

I had the Joe Rockets 2.0 mesh. They were comfy, practical, and had good ventilation. I never crash tested them...luckily.
the 2.0 doesn't have a liner, correct?

I have leather pants that I wear if I'm going to be riding hard or all day- but I mostly just ride in jeans.

My everyday wear is some Dickie work pants with double knees, and kneepads underneath. I tested a pair sliding along the edge of an asphalt road and it didn't get thru the second layer..
The wife has some of the Fieldsheer 4 season and they are fairly substantial.
