Frame sliders

i was wonderin do u have to cut the fairing to install the frame sliders into the 2002 r6 model \......cuz i look everywhere online but i cant find n e good info

if u have to cut do u guys kno where u can buy the non cut frame sliders...cuz i really dont want to cut the fairing unless i have....please pm me or do watever i need to kno asap

I've got the non drill R6 sliders in stock, they actually work pretty well on your model. We'll be back open Tuesday.

you might wanna consider getting some cut ones. I had the vortex on my first R6 and might be getting some on this one. It's not that hard to install at all. Plus i've had both noncut and cut sliders and the noncut just snapped and didn't do much of anything. The cut sliders actually saved my bike from a couple hundred bucks.

For a noobie...can you explain the difference in design, looks and price between cut and noncut sliders? Thanks!

haha.. cuts (you have to cut the fairings) noncut(well ill let you guess) the the cut ones go into the motor mounts on both sides at the same level.. the non cuts usually go just above your feet .... for example my left would go in the motor mount in its usual place.. but my right would have to go down lower and back so i dont have to cut my fairing... which is what i am going to go with NONCUT

On the R6 the non cut bolts in the same place as the cut type do, it just uses a stout offset plate. I've used this slider on a few R6's with good results.
