Just got the news from Cali...
Someone stole his Busa around 4am this morning.
EVERYONE PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT!
2002 Maroon Marbel busa
Turn signals in mirrors
two led stop rear turn signals
side mounted liscense plate
single exhaust.
Anyone who knows anything please, please help.

lol right... but no, I have my door key w the busa key. Both sets are in my possession.

What sux worse, I still owe on it and instead of selling it I dropped my full coverage not too long ago.

The officer that took the report was my neighbor for a few years. We just finished. Any information would be greatly appreciated. There isn't much of anything that could be sold on the bike that isn't damaged or A/M. Speedo at 30933 as of last night when I parked(was excited the Forest Ride was gonna bump it over to 31k.)

Keep in mind this busa is now raised and all the plastics have damage from track/rear end from a year ago. I appreciate the open eyes everyone.

Appearance: Turn signals in mirrors, marble/maroon/red paint, red vents, euro tail, chrome kenji, silver frame/trackbar, silver lip wheels.

Adds: gipro, white gauge faces w 220 overlay, single cut muzzy exhaust, had the hump on, not rear seat(so if a curb monkey wants to use the seat, I still have it lol)

was locked up front/rear and rack. Didn't have the cover on it since I was going to get up early and ride.

I park against a curb w the other bikes and looks like the other was moved, busa forced back and pitbulls or something used to move is back enough to do whatever with it.

Since work is so slow, I'll be happy to devulge much time to searching for parting out busas, sales leads etc. Fact remains there really isn't much they could sell other then the gipro, pcm, yellowbox that I couldn't identify. Everything has been repainted over or cut/modded by me in some way.

The officer is very confident it will be found so we'll see. Im hoping he's right.

You said there was a group fighting outside, do you know who they were, or if police were called in referance to the disturbance? Maybe they saw some suspect people out there. Did they see you eyeballing them? What area of the woodlands was it jacked from? Keeping an eye out from Conroe-Aldine area.

I really appreciate the sentiments and text messages lately. I know its just an object but after a six month marriage and her taking over 120k from me, the busa was the first thing for me after putting everything towards the debt myself over 4 years.

When you support two sisters, one pregnant other in college, your mom and grandparents at a job that took a 20% pay cut and your wages for the month are what you use to make in a week, coming out of being sick and off work for two months, then a hurricane, followed by a fiscal downturn...

I wish insurance was an option. I'll have the next two years to pay for that mistake.

My 954 got stolen 2 weeks after I took theft off my ins..
Luckily my buddy saw the guy the next day ridin my bike and wearing my lid..
I tracked him the next day shoved him off the road in my car at 140 mph and he got a face full of a springfield 9mm... he is now in gray bar hotel.
stupid fukkin theives.. I should have just hung up on the police dept and shot his ass...

I added theft onto my insurance and the only extra charge it put on there was about $1 :shrug:

Posting up the last four of the VIN does sound like a good idea. I think that is only considered the production serial number of the bike.

Some razor blades and lemon juice would do it. I used to be a waiter and I had a paper cut one time and I got some lemons for some drinks and man that stung! I could only imagine what it would have felt like on a real cut.

Ya, we saw those. The Woodlands one was originally posted for a busa trade at 11pm Saturday night, a few hours before the bike was taken. The ausin/san antonio one is being watched by two other members, now three awaiting pictures of the plastics.

Thanx for the helpful eyes everyone! I'd recommend not too many responses incase they get suspicious.

No further information from the police, but Im sure the bike is either 1)sitting low somewhere for the next couple weeks etc, or 2) dismantled and pissed off due to all the damage and parts modified lol.

There is very little that cant be identified as my bike including all the plastics etc.

All fenders/plastics have a gold underleaf and damage from the track. Chrome Kenjis and Red grilles(I made.) Rear piece is cracked but plastic welded on the inside.

I've done this myself when my bike got stolen, and I always hated going to "check a bike out" to see if it was actually mine. It's frustrating as hell when it's a waste of time and annoying to have to play along the whole time. Best of luck.

Ya I saw that. I was busy at work and wasn't able to get in before 11pm that night... so I missed everything including answering questions. But it is what it is.

Feels bad that others would even consider such things. I have always returned wallets or cut up cards I find if cannot return in person. But in my past I wasn't a good boy. I never started a fight but always finished them for others. Maybe this is another year for KarmaComeBack.

i don't know you as well as other do, but in my opinion whatever you did in your past you have already made up for it above and beyond. it sucks when something like this happens to a really great person.

honestly probably not. my heart raced w the first sportbike I saw in a darker color when going to lunch w burnboy... after that, the daze set in.

Im never giving up, and when work turns around im going on the offensive w professional support.

Its just sad that I'd do whatever I could in my power to help this stranger but they'd do this to me.

me and a lot of other people have been calling/emailing all the adds on craigslist. so far no luck. got pictures from a guy that had burgundy fairings from austin. They are not it. There is a bike posted in the woodlands off of rayford road for sale. Not it either. Keep up the search! With so many mh people looking, hopefully someone will come across the **shole that took it

I wouldn't put out a stolen bike craigslist ad. Not alot of people read those much less remember all of them. If you do put it on there you can guarentee that it is less likely to be found ON craigslist, which is where ALOT of stolen shit is found all the time.

Uhhh, I posted a $500 reward thread on craigslist for my bike when it was stolen. It stayed up for like 2 months or longer and I got about 2 dozen calls from people saying "I JUST SAW A BIKE THAT LOOKED JUST LIKE YOURS AT XYZ LOCATION!!!"

I went, and it was either not my bike or not even close to looking like my bike.

I don't see why a stolen item thread would be removed, it's not against the TOS.

I did; for sale section for motorcycles/scooters. Email stating it was removed didn't say why.

So I reposted it in 'wanted section' and it was removed even quicker, about 6 hours later vs a day. mmm....:er:
