when you had the wheels done you had to take them completely apart, bearings and all right? before you took them to be powder coated?

dudewhrsmybike
03-02-2009, 12:04 AM
Correct Mike. Also, It's recommended that you replace your bearings with new ones. They are about $40 I think? Go see Sunny and he'll get you taken care of! :notworthy:

My wheels are PC orange in the middle with black on the outside.

Personally - I don't think you need more black - those rims will perfectly finish it off.

What exhaust is that?? I'd like to have a high mount exhaust on the 7R but haven't found anything yet.

I second the notion of not painting some black on the fairings to even it out. I think it will look great as is.

Is there any advantage to having clear shot on them? I thought the powdercoat alone was all you needed. I've been thinking of doing mine for awhile. Still thinking.

Cool. I have a fairing that is cracked so if I fix it, I'm just gonna have it painted pearl black. Exhaust is Level One Racing :thumb:

True. I was at Tim's house a few weeks ago dropping off a piece for a go-by and I asked a guy over there if he was Eli, he laughed and said no.

I was just asking cause he had said the clear makes the color much deeper. And by god I saw those rims and they are so pink it like its raping your eyes. :keke:

Never seen powder coating come out as colorful as those pink rims. The orange looks badass too. If it's anything like Tim's rims they will look 10x brighter in person then they do on the screen. :notworthy:
