get your membership!! its money well spent. its prob the best money i have spent. and if you can get time in during the week then let me know. the only reason im not there everyday is bc i have nobody else to ride with. and im for sure down for sat morn but i cant on sunday. we have our dragstrip open on sundays

I usually get off work around 4 pm and can be at the track by 4:30-4:45. I just sent my money today for the membership. How long does it take to get back?

I plan on leaving the bike in the back of the truck and just going as much as possible during the week.

i think it took ours like a week and thats usually about the same time that i can make it to the track so that actually works out pretty good. you will be happy spending the money. how long before you get your bike back

It's at Sport Cycles of Houston right now. Waiting on the engine rebuild, rims/tires. I just dropped it off yesterday, so I'm not real sure how long it will take. The cylinder is taking a little longer than normal at the platers, so when that comes in it shouldn't be too much longer after. Wes is a busy guy I don't want to rush him!

No Saturday... GCKI is having a meeting at their club house, so no bikes.

I got this in the mail today.
So looks like I'll be shooting for Sunday early AM.

Attention all GCKI members. Here is your chance to get involved and make GCKI the best karting club – anywhere. At our pre-season membership meeting, we unanimously approved holding 5 meetings throughout the year. These have been published on the GCKI 2009 schedule. Meeting 1 is fast approaching – It’s this Saturday. Please make every effort to come out and support the club. It is your chance to learn all that is going on – there have been a lot of improvements already made, and many more are in the works. It is also your chance to have your voice heard, and more important – to get involved in making a difference.

The meeting will be in the GCKI Club House on Saturday afternoon starting at noon. We do not envision that the meeting will last more than two hours – so bring your karts and driving suits and take advantage of what is supposed to be a beautiful weather day to get in some track time after the meeting.

Please note that we will be having a very important kid-kart clinic in the morning, and for safety reasons we would like to limit on-track activity to only kid karts from the hours of approximately 10:00-Noon. Also – as a courtesy to the members attending the meeting, we would appreciate that there not be any on-track activity while the meeting is being conducted.


Plan to bring chairs to sit and snacks and drinks for yourself or to share.


We look forward to a very big turn-out. It’s your club – Be involved!

Had Blast... we were total of 3 bikes on the track.

Was 40-50 deg all day.

Just a few wrecks. Nothing serious.

Ofcourse.

You don't have to me a member to come watch.

You just have to be a member to come ride on your own bike on "their" track.
