Looking to put slip-on on 636. don't want anything too squiddy, just something that sounds decent. also, the stock pipe has that "torque valve"- I assume than an aftermarket will not. I know less backpressure will rob a little low end torque, but does anybody have any experience on these bikes?
Thanks

Also, any opinions on the Pirelli Super Corsas?

For street use I'd stay with a slip on; Akra, M4, & Leo Vince are all good.
the Super Corsas are a race tire. Unless you're racing it's overkill.

you will also have a FI light come on. read up at kawiforum.com and they have a few pipes for sale in the classifieds.

fuelmoto.com has muzzys and yoshi's for 299.00 on the 05-06's. The akras are running in the mid 400's for the slip on.

Thanks for all the info, guys. Now, any recommendations of a good street tire that will offer good life (I can always hope), great traction, and relatively fast warm-up? I'm running the stock Bridgestone BT014 right now. Just wondering if there is a better tire, or to stick with OEM.

In the latest Sport Rider they had a tire comparo. The new Dunlop Qualifier won and the Power barely edged out the BT014 for 2nd place by .3 points.
The BT014s were rated actually better than the Powers in traction and steering. The Metzlers were in 4th by a good margin.

All in all you pretty much can't go wrong nowadays with any of the current crop of high performance tires from Bridgestone, Dunlop, Metzler, Michelin or Pirelli.
Pick the one that suits your riding style / price best.
