what did i learn in class today at awsome cycles:

i can keep my balance on second gear
i cant break fast enought
when i get nervous ( which happended alot today) i forget everything
its not confortable riding wet
i might 5 days of school instead of 2
and finally a 250 is just fine thankyou very much!

A lot better learning these things in a controlled enviornment rather than out on a busy street. Keep at it and you'll be throwing that thing around in no time.

School is a great idea. Then some riding experience on the street, and then novice school at a track. You'd learn a ton.

A 250 is fine for everybody in the beginning! Some ppl get tired of their 250 faster than others, but it really is enough bike to start out on. Congrats on your first day riding! :thumb:

We are done with the course and it was realllllllllllllllly cool :thumb::thumb::thumb:

I have been able to ride a cruiser for the first time and it is fun :D

I love riding in the rain. And good luck on everything. Take your time learning so you can have more time on the streets. Hit the streets to fast and it may all end way to soon. Be safe and do not be scared to ride slow are ask for help learning. There is plenty of good riders on MH to would be happy to help. The only bad part is there more dumb ass's on here that will offer bad ideas as well.

the whole experience was great except for the riding soaking wet in the cold part. now dont you all worry i wont be in the streets for a while. i plant to ride around my neighborhood for a while, i still need to buy my safety gear so it will be some time before i come out of the closet :D
