not sure what he means,..why such an old bike? i dont advise getting a very old bike for your first one. maintenance becomes a big issue new riders may not know how to handle, and the last thing you want is something going wrong on the road when you dont have much experiance. just my $0.02

here is about the closest thing to that style i could find in a new model...i dont really recommend getting a new bike either, but its just an idea of whats out there. i would recommend getting a 90-00, depending on condition.

My first bike was a kawasaki 550 LTD.....talk about an old bike! I worked on it for like a month, everything from cleaning the carbs to paint the bike. Excellent ride and it wouldd turn heads everywhere because you don't see one like those everyday.

I sure miss it.

I don't think there's nothing wrong with wanting something like that.
