i couldn;t imagine that doing chrome powder coat is very easy or is very shiny... more of a brushed aluminum look i think

i thought about it but realized the difference in the process and realized that it wouldn't come out a mirror finish. kinda like spraying "chrome" paint
looks ok to me... am i missing something??

yup, but more durable, looks great as long as thats what your expecting, its pretty and shiny, he will be happy. I did this on my 54 dodge intake, about 3 layers and its bright as can be, matches the ceramic silver coated headers nicely.

looks like you did it about as good as it can be done. It's jsut not Chrome level shiny

thats what i was about to say, looks like ceramic. not chrome but it still looks good though.

Should have just chromed them! Chrome paint and powdercoat never looks chrome that I have ever seen.
