I might be down...gotta check with boo boo to make sure I'm not over looking some prior commitment but I'm def down, especially if you are talking about going to the Leaf- I still have to holler at Sean about those assholes playing football and not showing any rofessional Hockey on a damn Saturday night. If I wanted to watch football I'd have gone to the 10 thousand other bars in Houston.

Ok so me n muh lady friend are going to "The Leaf" tmrw...you down?

Also, please tell me you are training Saturday because I have a friend of mines that's about my weight that's been training at Kru Pong and wants to start MMA- he plans to fight professionally so it'll be good for him to get his reps in- so I am gonna work with him on his ground and takedowns (well, the freestyle wrestling ones anyway, I need to work on my Greco and Judo too). Brett had expressed an interest in learning this area too- I had showed him a few good takedowns the other day but he needs to practice um more often so he's got teh muscle memory to support him and he isn't lost during meets. Anyway, since dude is with Kru Pong, he should be able to give some good inputs on the striking as well- he just started however so it'll be a while. He's a former American Kickboxer so he's got some work to do.

Thoughts on all that?

I gotta couple errands to run earlier. be nice having a guy from kru prong around, even though he may be a little dismayed to learn I have deviated from traditional stance a little, and don't teach certain kicks. you know why, but he may not. brett really needs more chutework, I haven't done any with him for over two years. I say we get it on, and I'll make sure we're still on for the Leaf friday.

Yep n he won't mind the difference in stance or the dismissal of certain facets of the game- if he's going pro, he should be able to see pretty quickly why you wouldn't throw a shytload of highkicks without first setting them up.

...and I'll make sure we're still on for the Leaf friday.

I'm going to start defence-sparring with james on saturday too. this should be good. Yeah, I couldn;t believe that either cause Erik is such a good wrestler- that was a pillar of our training while I was there, takedowns. But we'll get him squared away. N yeah, I LOVE goin 3 or 4 hours...good for the heart haha :rofl:
