Innacurate "Viewed" numbers

For some reason on the thread stats column I always get the post count +1, it doesn't matter how many people have clicked on the thread. anyone getting this?

It's got something to do with this "brand" of forum. I'm on another forum which uses vBulletin and it does the same thing.
