They are crappy bikes and no one should buy it.

j/k good luck to your friend on the sale but it is a little odd that he never rode it.

i'm sorry if i'm wrong but, something smells..............i am going to say what i'm sure someone else is thinking.....is the bike hot? yeah, like someone would jump out and say it's hot. tell yer friend to give ya the V.I.N. # and post it up here for everyone to see/ and or check out.

i dont think its hot, i think gauges have been tampered with. no way someone would have that bike for two years, that nice of a bike and only ride 14 miles. 1400 is very more understandable, but hey im just a dumb ass, ignore my comments, good luck on the sale tho!!

It hasn't been tampered with and no its not stolen. Call the guy and talk to him about it. There is a story to it but I am not going to air his personal business. The bike is in NEW condition he doesn't have the eurge to ride anymore...long story...give him a call. I am sure he will explain.

don't talk shit yet jake, he provided the number for the man with the story to the bike. Unless we know the story, how can we call BS? Maybe the guy got scared shitless the first time he rode it and never got on it again? I doubt it, but I'm not calling him either, so we'll never know unless someone calls and asks him.

don't thank me dude, Jake has a valid point, and so does everyother person on here who questions the validity of an 04 1000RR with just 14 miles. All i said is the number is posted so we can hear the story from the horse's mouth. We see fishy shit like this everyday, and that's why we're all so quick to point it out. From what i see, your 5 posts on this forum are all about this bike, making it even more suspect IMO. We obviously don't know who you are, nor do we really care, so why don't you tell us the story behind the 2 year old bike with only 14 miles? Your boy with the bike obviously does not frequent this place, or he would have replied in this thread, so why do you care if you air his story? Cough it up, 'cause we're all waiting to hear it!
