OK. I have left a message and sent an email but I have received no response at all.
I attended the Ridesmart track day at MSRH at the beginning of November and also paid for the video. I have not received it as of yet and have received no response to my inquiries.
Any one care to let me know when I can expect to receive it???

They are way behind on these. I haven't gotten mine either from November. I think there are some that haven't recieved it and they were at the September trackday somewhere. Needless to say I won't be doing that again. Sorry guys but 3-4 month wait is really not acceptable.

check "ridesmart1" on you tube. When you see the "intro movie" posted for the event you attended, you can expect it shortly thereafter. Took me 3 months to get mine, but it DID in fact arrive and was worth the 20 bux or 25, whatever it was.

I just got mine in just a couple days ago, and it was really nice to have. I saw tons of things I need to work on this next season. I will probably get another one done later on this season to see how much more I need to work on.

yeah i got a video made one time with them. That was the last time to. Took 3 months to get it. That's totally unacceptable. They advertise it as if you can review your track time to learn from your mistakes. I don't know about you, but by the time I get the video I've already improved alot. So looking at the vid of myself that was taken 2 or 3 months old is unusable for riding improvements. It's a waste of money. Ridesmart needs to turn the videos over to you within 2 weeks max.

i think ur right, they do advertice them as a learning tool.
but even if you received it in 2-3 weeks and your really trying to inprove.
you prolly already attended another event anyways, either way they are really nice to have for reference and talk to you buddys when they first think of coming to the track.$20 is really not that much more and it takes a little work i suppose.the last event i attended they discounted them to $10 so im cool with that.
i ll still buy them, and i just received mine from oct 5..

I use all of the footage I film in Level 2 during Level 2 calssroom so either you have never been in Level 2 or your not showing up to class.
Ask anyone who has taken a RS Level 2 class....I use it an an instructional aid. There are several on this board.
So, yes it is advertised and yes it is used that day in CLASS!

What I liked best about the DVD was having not only my video, but all videos of all the riders. Many of those were as informative as my own.

No offence, but I actually been to level 2 alot and that may be your practice now, however it was not when I was attending so yes you are either wrong are inconsistant with the video reviews. Not a good idea to make your customers out to be a lier BTW.
Now to be fair there is not always the same instructors teaching level 2 all the time, so I may of been there on the day or track you were not teaching. Just because you do it, doesn't mean everyone else does. Now I have seen instructional video of Ty H. and others that were filmed at a earlier day, but not the same day. I always attend the classroom except for the last one or two of the day. I'm at the one after lunch to get my follow around from the instructor and then the one after that. If there is more I don't go to those so I might have missed out.
Maybe it's bad timing on my video because I got mine done when I was in level 1 at GSS the first time RS went out there in Aug. I totally sucked at the time, but when they decided to video me it was right when we went out. No warm up lap or anything. So I get a video of me taking it easy 1 lap warming the tires and then the 2nd lap was of me going faster. I don't remember how long you guys said the video of me was supposed to be, I think 2 laps, but the video had those 2 laps and 15 min. of video was other people. I was at least hoping the 2 laps would of been after a warm up lap, especially at the time the instructors would say do a warm up lap before increasing your speed.
Of course now it wouldn't matter since I run warmers and BT-003's. You can get down with them on the first lap and plus I ride better now. I may give it another shot this year. I got bumped up to level 4 by the instructors late in 07 and only did 1 or 2 level 2 in 08 my first 2 track days back to get into the groove again so no classroom for me most of 08. My buddy said he was filmed in level 1 and used as a teaching tool in the class, so maybe you guys are more consistant with it now.
But really the main topic was how long it takes to get the video. Really man Ridesmart needs to get with it especially in this day an age of computers. I would love to get a video again and honestly I would probably get one ever time I attended RS events if you could get about 4 laps of me instead of 2 and let me get a warm up lap in before following me. And send it to me within 1 week 2 weeks max so I can try learning something from my video before my next track day. I'm just a returning customers that is asking for better service on the video department.

^^^ My experience was that Diggler actually handles all the Bike Cam students, himself, in lvl 2. So, after a session, we were in the class room and we wacthed the laps of the student he just filmed. It did not work out this way for me though, as I was the last one filmed and filmed the last session of the day, so my video was not used because there were not any more classrooms.
At Cresson, I did the Ty Howard school and got to see plenty of live footage. Although I did not purchase a DVD, you still get footage to study of yourself in the classroom.
However, being told that you will receive your DVD in 4 weeks, is misleading as it took nearly 10 weeks to receive mine.
I am satisfied enough though, I mean, it was 20 bux. I was actually impressed with the effort put into the DVD for the measly 20 dollars I paid.
Similar to complaining about the grid being full, but riding MSRH for $100.00. Would you expect anything different, considering most organizations are $160+. Doesnt make much sense to complain.
Just my .02.

Yeah I'm not really worried about it, just my expierence with the vids. I want to take Ty's class at least once this year so I'll get a dvd from him then since it sounds like you get alot of coverage. I'm not trying to bad mouth RS and the video was cool when I got it for sure. Just wish there was more of me and I didn't have to wait so long for it. I to love the $100 or $120 track days. I do alot of RS events because of there price structure and now that I'm in level 4 it's not so crowded and passes are cleaner. Can't wait til March 7:nod:
