If you pc a pipe and muzzy can will it just burn off or would stay looking good?:shrug:

Pretty sure it will withstand the heat of a exhaust no prob. I have seen engine casings pc'd before and they looked just fine.

U need to cut it first and shorten it like I showed you on mine.

I think the can would be OK but I'm pretty sure the pipe would burn up the PC.

I did a flat black on my katana. Rated to 3500 deg I think lol...

Tape off the outside cap, drill the rivots out, pull out the chamber w insultion on the cap. Measure, mark and cut more then you need. grind down the edge clean.
Install the cap partially, mark the cap holes, measure and drill after punch marking where the holes should be. Re-rivot the cap on(i turned mine to the side a bit.)

or you can Powdercoat it high heat flat black and not worry with chips and scratches.
answer is: yes, if you use the correct powder (high heat powders) you can do exhaust systems, I do it all the time on car headers and bikes.
