Hey this is Chris with the black ZX12 are you the guy with the silver one?

Anyways I went ahead and gutted mine too, seemed to make like 0 difference except I can see the raw fuel coming out now haha.. Anyways I did the TPS mod last night and it seemed to make a difference, seems to rev a little quicker but who knows it could just be my imagination.. I'm gonna pickup one of muzzys adjustable timming advancers, I'll let you know how that works out I've been reading that they really smooth our the bike and, people are claiming about 6-10 hp thoughout the rpm range with about 4 deg advance.. I'll let ya know. .

I don't think you will get 6-10 hp with the ignition advance alone. You may pick up a couple of hp and it seems to smooth out the engine response so it still is a good mod to make. ZX-12R's really wake up with a full exhaust system and drops a good bit of weight.

I noticed a slight power gain when removing the cat on my old ZX12... My buddies behind me also told me they could see flames coming out of my pipe with it removed.
A little off topic, but noticed some guys here have 12's
Anyone with a ZX12 want to buy a Hans CF fuse cover(plate by the gas filler)? I think I have it in my garage somewhere.
