That would be nice, but the combination of cool weather, unknown track and tires with 4 trackdays on them don't equal to total confidence for me, haha... I'll have to wait unfortunately. But I will swing down and check the place out.

Buck, what kind of cheater parts are you throwing on the bikes? Give the new guys a chance, not every novice has 2 years of practice under their belt. I'm just messing around, the smack follows you everywhere.

Bubba it takes lots of hard work and asphalt testing to suck bad enough to miss expert by .0111 of a point. Hopefully they'll be calling me Buck Burleson by mid season. You gonna come get you some on the 19th? Oh and don't worry about the cheater parts...... gonna have one superbike and one superstock. Oh yeah baby slipper clutch here i come!!!!!!!

Electricity is around but I only know where one plug is myself.(creature of habit) I would suggest you bring your own amperage, to be on the safe and sure side. You will see that MSR is not nearly complete yet. I'm still waitting for the slab to be poured for MY garage. WooHooo!! But the track is prime time, that's all I care about for now. Am I dreaming? Are we in Houston?!!?

Buck, What the deal with TAX added on to the $175.00????? Paypal

Might just tell the IT computer man to Jack it up to $200.00 EVEN

Man, not everyone can fork out the money. If it's 175 leave it at 175..... :BangHead:

damn, $175 plus tax? :crying:

Buck Beasley

Not sure what the tax deal is about, I'll check it out in the morning. The list of current sign ups I have have no tax added. Might have gotten screwed up when they added the group selection feature. What can I tell you, they are still figuring it out as they go. Track was great today, got in forty or so laps between the curbing crew. Good news is they poured the last one today and will sweep the track again tomorrow. They have a Viper/GT event this weekend which should put some good rubber down on the track. I"m going to SA on Thursday so i won't hit it again until Monday. Still can't believe it's so close to the house..............

I'd suggest you bring your own power. Electrical crew hasn't gotten it out to the outter paddock area yet. I ran my warmers today, haven't been doing that much before. Place is so tire friendly. Gave them 1.5 hours to heat the rims, first time I ran it on seriously hot tires and the grip is unreal. I think you can wear out a right side knee puck in one day in the giant carousel. Good stuff............

I checked the paypal site and saw no tax added there. If you get charged tax we'll definately refund it at the track, as it is a mistake/glitch. NO TAX!!!! Now what is your excuse. On yer bike mister and ride.......................

ok... just got off the phone with Al - the GM over @ msrh...

'absolutely no problem' accomodating the electrical outlet needs for warmers and such for the trackday on the 19th... (and yes i did remind him that there could be as many as 80 riders that day)...

i.e., in other words...

Yeah weather looks less than ideal, but if the rain stay away the track will be great. I rode that last big front we had and grip was still good. I've mounted rains so that should help keep the rain away!!!! Don't forget your apple warmers.

South of Downtown Houston on Hwy 288. MSR is 13.1 miles south of Hwy 6 on Hwy 288. Turn Left on SOUTH CR 48 just after you cross under the power lines. Look for the yellow canopies - they are very visible from 288.

MAPQUEST LINK (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?address=County%20Road%2048%20%26%20Highway %20288&city=Rosharon&state=TX&zipcode=77583&country=US&title=%3cb%3eCounty%20Road%2048%20%26amp%3b%20High way%20288%3c%2fb%3e%3cbr%20%2f%3e%20Rosharon%2c%20 TX%2077583%2c%20%20US&cid=lfmaplink2&name=)
The most important thing to remember is this: Country Road 48 S-O-U-T-H!!!

Do not exit on Country Road 48 North - That's right There's TWO Country Road 48's... Coming from Houston - you want the 2nd one further south....

Hope this helps peeps... :icon_thum
