This info. was forwarded to me by Exxon's HR department since my company has been a long time subcontractor for them. hopefully someone will benefit from this.



TEST DATE ANNOUNCEMENT
October 3 & 4, 2008
Baytown, Texas

ExxonMobil will be conducting Operations Pre-employment
Testing for wage positions in Baytown, Texas. Career opportunities exist for electrician, instrument technician, laboratory technician, machinist, mechanical craftsperson, and process technician.




Visit the following Internet Website to Register Online:

Follow the steps below to register online:

Visit www.exxonmobil-employment.com and carefully review the Welcome page information.
Click on "Log-in" and follow the three steps listed under the "New User" section.
Follow the instruction listed under "Next Steps," click on "Test Location Preference" and select Plant/Refinery - Baytown, TX as your Test Location Preference.
Click on "Job Interest" and follow the instructions for adding your job interest selection(s). Individuals who are qualified for multiple positions or want to be considered for all Baytown sites must repeat the job interest selection process to indicate preference in multiple locations and job types.
Click on Candidate Profile and complete you candidate profile.
Continue to complete the "Next Steps" instructions until you have booked a test slot. Once you have successfully booked a test slot you will receive a confirmation screen, please remember to print your confirmation documents and bring with you to the test session.



Note: Testing slots are limited and are filled on a first-come first-served basis.
If you have tested in the past, there is a 2-year waiting period before interested individuals are eligible to re-test.




Test Registration will begin Friday, September 26, 2008




Free Internet access is available at most state employment offices and libraries.

Even if you are not able to secure a time slot for the test, please do not be discouraged. There are two test times per day, one at 7am and the other at 1pm. There will be a standby line for people to take the place of confirmed test takers who do not show up. Arrive very early to assure yourself a place at the head of the standby line.

all i can say is get there early!!! Exxon-Mobil employment seminars usually bring a crowd!! also wouldn't hurt to brush up on your math skill IMO

unfortunately i'm not 100% sure - but i think it's for the Baytown Refinery mostly not offshore

Neither.

This is for the Baytown Complex, and it's limited to BOP, chem plant, and refinery.

The content of the testing is all the same; its your selected job preferences on your candidate profile that will notify HR as to your interests and they will act accordingly.
