I've got a moen single handle shower/tub set up that wont flow hot water. I think it's a bad cartridge, but not sure. I've tried removeing the cartridge but no luck ... I think it's stuck but don't want to force it. I removed the clamp that goes slips down into the cartridge ... but the cartridge is not budging. Any thoughts?

yes definately the cartridge. Try taking it out and cleaning it before u replace it and see if that helps cuz alot of the time a simple clog will cause this. after u remove the clip try turning it 90* to the right then back 90* the the left and then it should pull out.

Apparently I need some sort of cartridge puller tool thing ... crap ... why do the make this stuff so hard to do? Dude, if you're a plumber come over and help a fellow out.

I want to put outlets in my stairway so I can put some nightlights for my daughter ... than and I want to mount two emergincy lights in the hallway and living room ... the kind that comes on automatically when the power goes out. I have the lights ... just not sure how to install them.

the emergengy lights need to be tied into a constant power source and when the power goes out the come on.and the stairway outlets shouldnt be a problem either and not have any sheetrock damage. ill tell you how to do it or i could possibly come do it for you . pm for my number or if you have any questions

shit I didnt even catch that u said it was a Moen. Yes you have to use a puller, most other brands just pull right out. Try goin to Moore supply off of 518 near 45 they should be able to help u out with watever u need. I would gladly come help u if I could but Ive been workin full days in Galveston. If i get some free time ill shoot u a pm.

If you're putting outlets just to plug in nightlights I'd say toss that idea and just put in some small lights with a switch on the railing at top and bottom.
