I love the 'Stros, but I love the Cubbies even more. Probably b/c I spent most of my childhood watching WGN "dreaming" of Wrigley Field and playing there one day. I moved to Chicago in the mid 90's and was lucky enough to visit Wrigley on a regular basis for 10 yrs. The bleachers are sick!!! and they serve minors too:D:thumb: Speaking from experience there:keke:

I never did get to play for the Cubs, but I did get to hit one over the fence back in 99 when I ran a t-ball league for a local park district. We got the opportunity to play a mini game in the outfield and naturally I had to hit a "rag ball" over the ivy. :D

Anyhow, glad to see the Cubs making the playoffs again....especially since I have no "home" team to root for....:shrug:

Congrats to the Cubbies. Yea, Stros over achieved this year for sure. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for yet. I'll decide later. lol.

F*CK!!!!!!!! The damn Sox won the AL Central Division last night!!!!!!!! I need to move back to the Chi for a few weeks to enjoy the bar scene...:banghead:

lol no kidding. I was thinking that too. You know it would be cool to see a WS vs Cubs WS.

if it comes down to a Northside Southside battle im going for the south. Ok so if the A's vs Giants is the battle for the bay and Mets vs Yanks are the Subway series then what would the Cubs vs WSox series be called?

I hope to live to one day see both Texas teams be in the world series together :happy3:

yeah, they ain't looking so hot and the Dodger team they are playing now is not the team they played early on in the season.
