We hope all of you have been spared the hardship that IKE has caused in its path. Although not a lengthy storm, we have been seeing reports of extensive water and wind damage in many areas.
As you all know, the MSR event was cancelled due to logistical concerns for all those who have been signed up.
We have an event coming up in Slidell, TX, at the ECR facility, on September 20, 2008.
This event should be perfect to those of you who are planning to race at this facility on September 27/28. CMRA is holding a race weekend there and our event would be a perfect opportunity for you to get some practice time in at a great rate.
Those of you who are CMRA licensed, and sign up for the event, will receive a $10 cash back at the track.
So come on out. The weather forecast is shaping up to be great, with sunny skies and temps in the mid 80s (WOW).
For all those who will not race, this is still a great time to visit this awesome track. Especially if you have signed up for the MSR event (which was canceled). ECR is not far from there, so the trip overhead is is not great. Combined with the weather we are expecting, it really will be an awesome day.
