Does anyone know of any easy ways to get on ANY company that does offshore or onshore rig work. I dont have any experience directly towards rig work, but I am mechanically inclined, and willing to do whatever it takes. If anyone knows of anything could you shoot me a PM.
Thanks

All right, Rigzone.com is an excellent resource but most of the postings are for higher possitions, not entry level. The easy way is to have someone who is the biz. IE THERE IS NO EASY WAY. Im not in a company that would hire w/o experience, but some good companys to look up:
OFFSHORE DRILLING COMPANIES (may have land rigs, not sure): If your tall or muscular, they seem more prone to hire. Look for possitions for roughneck, roustabout, floorhand, deckhand (you want roughneck or floorhand perferably)
Pride International
Nabors
Ensco
Transocean
SERVICE COMPANIES (On rig zone look at Specialty Services) Some of the smaller ones are easier to get on with
Of course you have majors like Baker Hughes, Schulumberger, Cameron, NOV,
Smaller ones like Hudson NU services, Superior Wireline, Black Warrior, and like a million others that I dont know where you would look them up at.
After looking all these up (some I found really hard to find where they recruit entry level, not engineers, but If you like I will ask around)
This was long, BYE
