he has my respect for the years of football he played but is slowly losing it as a professional in the sport to me. he needs to retire because if he comes back anywhere he is going to be a distraction and then retire after looking worse.

+1.
Where at other than the good ole USA, can you retire, then decide to come back and then be offered a freaking buyout to stay retired!!!!! Bwahahahaha, that is a joke.

I always thought that he a great QB and woth all of his stats he is one of the best of alll time. But I agree with arturo3rd I am really starting to lose respect for him, he is just to much to blame as the Packers when it comes to this whole fiasco, at the end of the day he really only does care about himself and no one else. If this was Terrell Owens, or Chad Johnson it would a different story
-1 to Brett Farve

Favre is one of the greatest QB's of our time. It's sad to see him come back out of retirement just to want to play for another team. That's a huge slap to the face of all packer fans that stuck with them.
He should have stayed retired because with the media coverage and hype, he will be a great distraction for whoever and where ever he might get to play.

He should just take the money and focus on something else. His career (hopefully) isn't everything to him- doesn't he have a family?

Hated to see him un-retire, but he's earned the right to do what he wants. At least it will make watching the Jets interesting.

4,100 yards, 28tds/15ints and played for the NFC championship, i'd hate to see him when he was young ! He can still get it done; I just wish he could have played for the Bears and kicked the Packs a$$ up and down the field.
