We should change our name to AA participants.

If you don't have a team you can always sprint race on Sunday. NSR50/motards can get upto 6-7 classes easily.

Heck even the Scooter can be run in 2 classes (Scooter & Other).

oh my, Tom and I should safety wire our ruckuses and run the scooter class...that's the only thing I have unless they allow me to run the 426 in unlimited.

Couldn't you run F7 also? The rules only specify displacement, not body style. :D

That would be sweet. it would have a better home in CMRA tho. i would very much like to have a 2 smoke GP bike for mini CMRA sprints and endurance racing! :thumb:

i think that would be it's only home. but ya, that's the game plan. if i build it, i'm gonna be hunting down riders to endurance race it. i wish i could afford a 150r motor, but I'll wait a while till the price drops!

I'll have to dig up the info, Dr. Maffet did a great on my torn rotor. He was suprised how much damage there was when he put me under and went to work. It would dislocate under a load and it would pop right back in.

Dr. Bruce Moseley has aided in my return to extreme sports.

Same reason along with motor issues why I ended up packing and leaving early aswell.

Everytime I'd go into a left hander, it'd feel as if my shoulder was about to jump the socket and go overboard :angry7: just like this > or this > :eekspin:

Hurt enough for me to just stop @ 45 minute stints... Not that I could do another 4 hour stint in the given 100 + heat :D

Congrats to the PodIum finishers - me thinks that's how the overall season standings will look like aswell for F7N.

It was a nice HOT day, we missed Ready Racing and the rest of NSRs R Us out there. The first hour and a half was the hottest, then it got slightly better, then a little sprinkle. Sprints were HOT as well but it was a great day of racing, except for Terry Dike getting hurt.

Who is coming to Cresson for the next round?

Should've put a can of fix a flat in that biotch! :eek3::shrug::rofl:
Hate to see that. Can't help but think that everytime somone leaves safety on the ground it might end up in a tire. :angry7:

Rear tire was flat - 3 spokes out. I highly doubt fix a flat would fix that. Oh well...

We're pretty much done now, too far back behind podium positioning - not sure if its even worth making the other races.

It's still worth good fun and practice! Championship is probably out but 3rd or so. I think F7N will be all up for grabs next year.

Mine is doing the same thing and it is not much of a load. Just has to be at the right angle and pop. Even after rehabbing it. It sucks! I got to go surfing for the first time a few weeks ago. Paddled out 3 times and got up each time but after that the shoulder popped loose and my fun was over.

my parents and doc were playing with my arm right after they put me under. The doctor was shocked that when my muscles relaxed, my shoulder just fell out. Anyhow, there are two things that will prevent your shoulder from dislocating again, a lot of muscle in the area, and a tight socket. Well, I had so much damage in my shoulder the doc did open surgery on the front and like 3 or 4 scopes in the back.

That's it and how Cliffy's saying too. Did it several times surfing some big sessions and was thinking hmm this is not good. :eek3: Need to get this fixed.
Good to go now.

It seems many of us have the same problem (Shoulder Dislocation). So while we're on the topic - any one of you heard of the lazer surgery where they tighten up your tendons, so they don't stretch and more and hence can "help" keep the shoulder in socket at all times.

That's one method that I was explained by a surgeon. The other method (or work out I should say is) what Cliff already mentioned of building alot of muscles in the area, that should be the cheaper and probably better way to go about it I think.

Why do you say that?

You all going Expert next year?

the worst thing for me was sleeping. I used to sleep with my arm over and behind my head. anyhow, on occasions, it would fall asleep. Then my shoulder would dislocate behind my head. Ya, try resetting that one with an asleep arm, groggy from waking up in the middle of the night, and behind your back! I had to wake my roomate up to lift my arm to the front. That was my deciding factor for surgical repair.

here's my doc talking about shoulders:
http://espn.go.com/trainingroom/s/1999/0901/13997.html

he fixed my dislocation on my left and took tons of pics of my separation on right for some speech he was gonna give. it's stupid ugly looking!

Unfortunately working out is not cutting it anymore. I have been doing that for about 8 years now since the first injury that beat it up. iIt is doing strange things that it has not done in the past. It should not pop out reaching for a beer in a cooler or things of that nature. It sucks and is more of a mental thing then anything else. My lifestyle is on hold for now. :-/

Been to the doctor several times. Rehabbed and nothing good is going on. Need to find somebody who knows what the hell they are doing. :thumb:
