you dont shatter it but the edges may get worn and you may miss a gear or just not accel correctly. its crushed cuz it was grinding on something it wasnt supposed to touch (installed wrong).
Never shattered my clutch. My stocker still feels strong after many wheelies.

i think i know why u shattered your clutch .. i was out on a night ride one tight and man u abuse the CRAP out of your clutch ...
i swear at one point we were going like 60-70 and u tried clutching up like 231321 sit downs in a row ...
nothing against u or anything but when we stopped me an a friend talked and we were like i got $5 his clutch goes out in a month or so

hmmm then why had none of the other clutches on this forum gone out....
and also.... as arturo said. they wear down AKA burn out.. not SHATTER INTO ABOUT 30 peices... and lets go ride again sometime.. i got it down now i only need one try to get it up and ill ride it for a while

ya thats true they do burn out .. not sure why yours shattered .. not enough oil ?

It shattered because Metric installed it wrong.

arturo is bitch made and knows all...
did you know how your oil level was? when you squeeze the clutch it kind of "kills" all the power until you release it and it catches the teeth of a gear. when clutching it up it catches the teeth at higher speed than just upshifting, so it wears down the teeth.
thats why people have to change sprockets when the chain is worn out. metal contact corrodes metal.

I've never had any clutch problems with doing wheelies goin through 4 diff bikes.
Even if you do, it's like $150 for a clutch and it's easy to replace yourself. No biggie. Stuntin doesn't really put a lot of stress on your clutch if you are blippin the clutch real quick. If you are tryin to clutch up sit downs at 60-70mph, that's probably not too good though.
