looking to get out of the car business, currently working for lexus and i'm master certified, but there's not any work in our shop. could go to another dealership but i'll end up in the same shape. looking to get on at a plant or something that pays 40-50k a year startout. don't mind working overtime at all as i'm at lexus 50+ hrs. a week anyways, just getting tired of only taking home 35-40 of those hours. probably going to go back to school next year for process technology unless i find something else before then. would prefer to stay on the south side but will travel if the pay is better. please let me know if any of you guys have anything. also very mechanically inclined if that helps. thanks ryan. email is tiffcox11@hotmail.com or pm me.

Im w bimmer; in about the same boat lately but keep faith...
how is your concern for time away? IOW, do you have a family or can you do time away/off shore? There are some oil industries and hydraulic plants in my area but that's on the North side...
your background should be a good modivational push in a resume for that type of job(to give you and idea or direction to consider.)

at the moment time away is not really a concern for about the couple of months while she's in school. me and the wifey are pretty close though and want to try and start having a kid here pretty soon. kinda looking for plantwork, assy. mechanic, something that pays good and is hourly.

yeah, but i think he's too far away for me. don't mind traveling but don't want to drive that far everyday without getting reimbursed for it. wouldn't mind the job but don't think the pay will make up for the drive. wouldn't mind getting back into construction at this point, really just need to make money
