What happened to the folks who wanted to get together and do some fishing?? I got out on Tuesday and got ten specks in short order, was back on the trailer headed home in an hour an a half.

wasted time in the surf sunday, caught a few specs and a shark, current and seaweed were against me though. . . Wish i had a boat, have pole will fish!!!

I fished this weekend....caught me 2-3# catfish....LOL! One was while I was perch jerkin' for bait! LOL @ the catfish scouring the shore line for corn on a hook....I thought the cane pole was going to break! That was some funny stuff.

if someone plans a fishing trip ... I will come! have a few poles and a lot of tackle. I love fishing for specs, on many good days i have killed them off of the Flagship parking lot. Never been out to the jetties, but would love to go, just dont have a boat.

I have ben known to do alittle fishin in my time...almost everyday I aint workin or ridin. Anyperson wants to split costs. I have a 2007 21 ft Explorer HS with 150 Suzi 4 stroke. I hit all the bays and jetties.

I grew up on Chocolate...... Prefer the ICW west of there up into Aligator Bayou. Flounder heaven and the reds and specks come and go with the tide.
As soon as my season slows down i'll try to remember to give you a shout.

Got out again today for a few hours, 9 specks, 1 shark, and a half dozen sandies. Biggest speck was 23" and it had a sort of glow to it. Must be the Dioxins and PCB's...............

North Jetty, outside then moved to the gas wells near Bolivar. Good outgoing tide had the specks real active.

I am fishing this weekend, I have a place on Livingston and the cats and bass are bitin right now, went two weeks ago and cought my share. Haven't been out in the gulf since I was a kid. I would love to go sometime Buck, does your misses fish? or is a guy thing for you? Tim aint much on fishin unless he's catchin so i would love to take him somewhere where he can load up.

get out right before daylight with a Bone colored Super Spook Jr topwater (if its flat and green) and see what bites...thats my favorite way/place to fish...if its calm enough ill run my boat out the jetties and right parallel to the break along the beachfront
