Not in my bike... my Jeep. I would swear by it but it's not inexpensive. It reduces running temps significantly and allows you to wait longer between oil changes - provided you use a filter which is equally as good.

i ran it 1x, made my clutch slip, i'll stick to $$$ bike oil or mobil 1 gold cap.

You're right.. that's something to look out for. Could cause problems for those running wet clutches..

for maximum coolant capability, straight water is the best. Maybe add redline water wetter. However does not give good corrosion resistance. I'll talk to ya later about coolant.

But you're not gonna put water in your oil tank. We're talking oil here.

I have used and still use royal purple oil in my 05 r1 and love it. It is 10 dollars a quart but it is worth it to me. The bike ran and idled smoother and shifted better. Mobil 1 makes a real good oil also for bikes.

i use it in my car and truck. in the engine coolant trans rear end the whole lot. I love it. also when i got my bike dynoed at northwest honda the tech that dynoed it said they saw a 4 hp increase when they switched to royal purple for their race bikes.
