I'm probably the only hockey fan around here, but here goes. I started watching the Aeros several years ago with a chick I was dating that had season tickets. I played baseball up until I got booted off U of H for being a talentless player compared to other college players. The strike really put me off. I got bored with big league sports. Not enough action, too much whining and million dollar "how cool am I" crap. But hockey was more fun to watch, and the Stars are the only NHL team we have. I started watching and was hooked. Have more Stars' crap in my house than the average museum. And they are coming back from a 3-0 deficit against the Red Wings, some great game as of late. Anyone else here watch any hockey?

It was a good game. I have been a penguins fan since the mario lemieux, jaromir jagr days. I went to the some of the 1991 and one 1992 stanley cup games. I think that was the last time they played for the cup also. I also went to some of their games when I was at camp in Baltimore.

I got to fly up and watch game 3 (?) against the Sharks, it was bad ass. I had a really good month, so the owner of my company got us platinum seats. it rocked so hard, I even paid far out the ass for a Turco jersey. one of the best days of my life!
I can't even imagine how cool it would be to have season tickets dude.

oh he did!!!! my dad taught physics of flight and aerodynamic engineering there until 92. he was the dean of the aerospace dept for a while too.

I know, I sw it on the news. technically they're ALL sloppy seconds if you weren't the first guy there. I'm disapointed in them for that. first we lose Morrow, we're having a crappy season and now this?

Losing Morrow is the biggest blow to the club.

I hope the Stars can turn it around! Modano needs to find his mojo and take control.

yeah, without morrow we've lost a lot of steam. modono is gonna have to get his linemates fired up. and until they keep people out of turco's face he's just gonna keep getting pounded. it's gonna be a long uphill road.
