Are there any machine shops around Woodlands/Conroe area that I could get a job as an assistant at? I don't know really where to look for this kind of job.

I'm in the manual machinist program at Lone Star College (North Harris) and there are plenty of people hiring while we are still in the program. I dont know how much education or experience you have but you may want to look into this program. I'm doing manual first, then basic and advanced CNC. Still have about three semesters to go. Scootertrash was looking for a an apprentice machinist at his job but they are in Channel View.
