whats did you use to do the work?
i used a turnbuckle for the rear suspension. there isnt a shock back there so it rides ROUGH but who cares its just used on the road. a friend of mine works at the fab shop for dow in texas city and he stretched the swingarm for me. he did a bad ass job of it too.

That's not bad at all...i know my little nephew had a lil bike like that and it's probably sitting somewhere in his garage under something....you think it's capable of ever doing anything to it...or is it only the 110s?

i am sure u can do somethin to it. prolly just throw a bigger carb on it and a pod filter help it out the most. assuming its just a 2 smoke 50

05-03-2008, 10:20 AM

does it have stock 50 mounting system? or what kind of motor mounting does it use?
and you could have moved the shock mount on the frame so you still had suspension

hey bro, i need a ride, maby i can ride it out to westheimer wit ya tonight lol can you imagine, my big a$& pullin up with everyone, on the mini
Speedfreak
05-03-2008, 10:26 AM
im not really worried about the suspension. and with the turnbuckle i can adjust from a good ride hieght to resting the rear on the tire and the frame touching the ground. and yeah its like a regular 50 mounting system(i think so anyways) i kinda want to find an xr50 motor and just put a big bore kit in it. anyone know where i could get a motor cheap?

im tellin ya, fuk the xr 80, we need to hit some yards n see what we can see, ill start lookin on ebay too, you need a water cooled 125, and she will scream. also need a stabilizer to take the wobble out of the front. with a lil work she can be wicked fast. with the rear stretched and strutted, you can put some power down now, just gotta find a a slick that size hahaha

the rear is wide enough. im tryin to find a shifter kart rim and slick to mount on it.

i used to race karts, so i might have some connects, how wide? the main thing is most of the rims are offset, that will be the trick, cause the rim is 2 piece, and then their is a hub that rides in the center, you would have to have the right offset to compensate for the hub so it will center properly

search for lifan motors...
Speedfreak
05-03-2008, 10:42 AM
i might try to find another swingarm. or if i take it back off i can take it to the friend of mine and see if we could get a single sided swingarm built for it. that would be fuggin sick!!

i dont know how to post pics, but this is a basic wheel, this is a 1 piece wheel, they also have 2 piece (front and rear halves) with the 2 piece, depending on what size halves you use, you change width and offset.
klassik
05-03-2008, 10:46 AM
yea the sss have to have offset wheels. get ur machinest friend to hook u up straight up the baddest lil bike ever.
KaMaKaZeE_FZR!
05-03-2008, 10:47 AM
yea, single sided would be easier to get a wide slick set up, a lil fab work and she would be sittin fat. and why go lifan, when you can get parts for the common watercooled dirtbike motors a dime a dozen. this is comin from a guy who used to tinker wit a friends ysr 50 with an lt 500 quadzilla motor squeezed in that bad boy. talk about a sik 3/4

oh yea, i have the 3d modelin software to mock it up and test in the computer to see if it will work and work out the design before you go to fab it, plus you can give him detailed prints of what you are wantin so it wont be confusing at all, just follow the print

its kinda like you ride honda, i ride yamaha i guess, all in your preference. personally i like the water cooled 2 stroke cause i kno how to make them scream. you can get about double the power for half the motor and when it comes to a small package you can pack a lil bigger punch. but like i said its all in preference
