ya i get your point man. I am just saying i find it kind of shady by by parties involved to bring the whole kit and kaboodle into the mess when every other woman in her economic demographic is doing the same thing.

and fwiw I think HGH use is dumb along with botox usage.

What difference does ANY of this make?

He's a pro athlete, if he did 'roids (and he prolly did) who cares? I aint sayin it's right but do we really need Congress to be involved?
Does it really matter if he was doin some country star? (aside from her age which is a seperate issue).
Let's have the media move on to something more important, like the economy or the middle east and leave ol' Roger alone.

Exactly, I could care less what he does. As long as when he played ball he brung it everynight on the field. Thats all that matters.

its not about her using, but that her and everyone close to Roger had access to the drugs but he denies ever touching the stuff.

could it be because its that "I" word? you know that little word that sometimes sends people to jail. :keke:
since we should stop going after/prosecuting roiders, whats next? potheads? cokeheads?
dude is a living legend and all but come on. seriously get of his pecans already. IF he is convicted of doing roids (hgh included). so be it. if he is convicted of purgury later on so be it. do the crime do the time. all there is to it. what his wife does is not relevant and would be a separate case anyways so why bring her into his idiocy?

I disagree with Txferrari about his playing being ALL that matters. His 'roid use is important in the effect it could have on young people that look up to him.
It is all too easy to think, "It worked for him so it could work for me".

My point is that Congress should find something better to do and the media should stop dragging up every little pimple they can find.
If he did them he should be prosecuted and if he had sex with an underage girl outside his marriage then he should get in hot water for that too.
Good luck proving ANY of it though, until there is proof it should be left alone.

Im not saying im accusing him of guilt by association, possession is 9-10ths. Im just stating the obvious meathead that Clemens is if he saw his wifes bottle of HGH sitting on his drawer and knows what it does he might of thought "Gee if I can shoot up and this makes my game better without anyone knowing, why not take a little."

the bloody gauge and bandages from Mcnamee sure do creep me out though :er:

HGH doesnt work that way bro. you have to cycle it with other things to cause muscular gains. (women usually take it for regenerative purposes) thats what most find weird. where are all the other stuff people take with hgh? does he have some special hgh that comes with everything in it? :keke:

PS how many times did they claim to inject him?

Thats even sadder. When I was growing up, if I saw a major leaguer doing something I didn't like...guess what? I stopped watching the damn fool and got me a new favorite player. I can't stand how people are so sensative. Not towards you directly, but as a whole. Kids have more sense than we think. We act like they can't think for themselves. I didn't need anyone telling me if roids were bad when I was young. Anyhow, he played ball. Whoopee.

so nothing negative has ever influenced you in a wrongful manner? something that caused negative consequences towards your lively hood that you wish you could take back if given the chance. every body is influenced by mass media/role models. especially when the player/role model embraces his role like clemens did.

No actually. The only people that influenced me were my friends and parents...who I saw everyday and not through a television. Now, my only role model growing up as a ball player was Nolan Ryan. AND, if he was molesting kids or taking roids it would of been a downer, but I would of just stopped following him and moved on to Mike Scott since he was my 2nd fav player. Or, Kevin Bass or Glenn Davis or Jose Cruz or Dickie Thon.

Fact is, its all media hype just like with anything we see on the news. In reality, its just someone elses lives and what they are doing that has no bearing on whats going on with my life or my kids life. My son...will have me to come home to and look up to. Not a ball player. I'm going to be the one taking him to practice and showing him how to throw a curveball. Not someone through a television. Now, he might pattern his skills or the way he throws after someone, but not how he lives his life. Big difference.

It would be funny if he came out and said"The juice made me do it". "I was on test and that girl had one sweet little ass". "I couldnt help it". Now that I would understand. It doesnt take much to get you ready on the juice.

recovery as in muscle micro tears heal faster. thing to remember. steroids makes muscle cells large. hgh makes more muscle cells. now which would you think makes recovery better? people always argue about that but i am for the test being better for recovery.

so the answer to my question is yes. so what you are saying is nolan ryan (who happens to be a dick in person) has an influence on you. and what would be so different to be influenced by your peer over a role model? same consequences can come from both. both can go positive or negative.

Sorry, I love to hate the Yankees. Nothing better than watching a team with over twice the salary as the Astros lose with a lineup better than the all-star teams. I know it is different today, but a few years back before everyone got old as dirt, you would have thought it was a wash for the championship.

Well, you only draw that conclusion about NR because you really don't know him personally. I played ball with his sons and am friends via my parents through him. He's a cool cat. Just straight and to the point thats all. Most folks can't handle that. It's 2008. USA is soft.

Haha. Well, the only thing you can blame it on is the Rox getting beat by a better team. I'm a freaking Tmac die hard, but sometimes he just ags the hell out of me.

Um, anyone see what Bryant did this first round? Like a caller said this morning. If Tmac manned up a bit more and avg'd 30 per and dealt out his same assists, we'd be up, maybe of been a sweep already.

I'm a huge Tmac fan, I'm not saying trade him now, but all three losses he has disappeared in the 4th quarter. Kobe doesn't disappear in the 4th, thats when he steps it up the most and puts the team on his shoulders. Tmac needs to do that.

you must be old as hell if you played with robert and reese. :keke: know him pretty personally actually through my boss (friends with my boss). where did you play ball with them? alvin area? Actually I even went to his (closed doors) book signing. were you there? everbody and there mom close to him including my boss (his attorney) and I were there. heck I can even go take pics of his personal golf clubs sitting in my bosses office. so its suffice to say I know him well enough and have interacted with him well enough to know the ass he is.

So needless to say, all their teams had the hot bats and unis. I actually pitched against Reese back in the day. Back when pitchers actually batted. I was a pitcher btw. We would just laugh when we had to face each other. Nailed me in the back once. I threw up an in next time. I have so many memories its not even funny. But, he went on to bigger and better things and I went to prison. Go figure.
