Im pretty happy right now i finally got to ride 2nd out a few times today and even getting to where im popping it up while standing ( still scaring the shit out of me) now I just gotta find the balance point and i will be set.
Sorry but i felt like sharing this i was pretty siked about it thanks for the pointers the other night chris.

LOL...dude i was gonna do the same thing yesterday....i brought mine up in second(sitting) and actually hit my balance point for the first time and rode my wheelie for longer than 3 seconds...it felt sooooooo nice....so now its just time to practice some more.....

lol ya iv been pulling them up but i was always setting them back down. Tonight i rode it for a while i may have hit the bp a few times but put it back down.(scured)

hey, i havent been able to get my wheel up higher than a foot or so in third but my r6 is bone stock......just curious around what speed you bring it up in third??

3rd gear wheelies arent over 100. thats what i do all my highway shit in. 3rd gear for me is 72ish and i usally hold them around 78.

yea I like 2nd gear wheelies more for the smoothness....and u can ride them longer....when I try 1st on mine, it comes up to quick and the gear is to short....but 2nd feels just right

get an xr50 and 1st gear slow stuff will come totally natural.....seriously.
my friend never even rode a sportbike before and rode a 50 for like two months...then got a gix 6 and slow stuff 1st day.
me..i had 3 sportbikes before this one..and never had slow stuff.
got a 50 and 2nd day i was scrapin consistently.
but anyways..congrats on the 2nd gear stuff...it's definitely fun

I'm trying to make all my freeway wheelies in 4th.. just wish i could bring it up going a bit slower, usually have to be going about 80+. I'll continue to work on this.

you wont see me in the 4th gear.
2nd gear = 25-30 mph, 3rd gear = 45-50 mph
:confused1 damn, i usually bring it up anywhere between 35 and 50 in second gear but thats sit downs.... im usually around 60-70 when i try third gear but cant get it to come up (sitting)....

Man 3rd gear wheelies yeah those are great till you go slidding accros the pavement like I did but hey it was one hell of a ride hahahahaha :laughing6
King I do not disagree with your advise I think you are right on.
For whoever said get 2nd gear down and then you can get 1st yeah thats not a good way to do it because you are use to the way the bike responds in 2nd on freeway with wind assistance you do not get that the same in 1st it is tourque of the bike that you have to manage and if you try first the same as you do second you will probably loop it. King is right first is for slow shit but it also helps with learning how the bike comes up and the feel of where it starts to get light and float at balance point. I'm still chaising that on slow shit.....but just giving my 2 cents because I have looped like 3 times and don't want to see newbies that are just having fun do it. Now if you want to parking lot stunt you will be going slow and get use to crashing hahahaha :BangHead:
