Saturday night www.gulfcoastspeedway.com practice starts at 6pm

I have 2-3 people running Mad Dawg class (xr 100) that will show up but it's always more fun the more folks that show up.

post a pic of your ride. What kind of setup do you have? Knobbie front and what rear? Stock wheels? Mods welcome?

I'm running the same setup we won F7E Katy Endurance with. I'll post a pic when I get a minute to upload image shack with one.

Mods are welcome - IIRC flat track Mad Dawg rulebook is something like this:

must start out with 150cc air cooled 2 valve motor.

That is it. So I guess mods are pretty open.

My xr is a 110 but I'll give it hell anyway.

Corky and I discussing the game plan.

17" wheels with Michelin Gazelle's - I don't have the wide 17's because they weigh so freakin' much. It's super hard pack so any street tire works pretty good.

Oh, and I have put the stock gas tank back on.

Hey 10mm,
where did you get a 110 kit for your XR100?
Every bore kit I've found has been 115-120.
Thanks,
Tom

I don't know if I want to turn everyone on to that!

Oh well, if nothing else maybe it will make for some really tight racing.

Cool, thanks, I've seen those before but have'nt heard any feedback.
Just wanted something to help keep up on the straights.

Good luck with your races this weekend, err practice!

Powroll has been around since '64 I believe, they make a great product and are very helpful - can't go wrong in my opinion.

Could I run my 65 out there? Obviously won't make it this weekend, but would love to soon!

I always advocate that it is better to ask forgiveness than permission, but if you don't live close to the track you might want to get in touch with someone at the track.

I can't imagine they would turn you away at a practice

Ben, one of our techs and John Girl (John Branch) was supposed to make it but John Girl got sick, pulled a no show and 20 mins into Bens first session he took a soil sample and gave himself a light concussion. I put in close to 3 hours. Wasn't worth poo on Monday.

Is ben the one who owns a Hawk GT?

Man, thats a bit of riding. Congrats on the first place btw. I may have to come out and see the practice or something. Doing work on the bike so its not really available for practice right now.
