Billy Weise is the NSR master in town. Not sure how to get ahold of him lately though as he was tuning for Rockwall Honda in the AMA last year and not doin gmuch here. A friend has his bike there now, I'll try to get you contact info. Also EBR in Seabrook does great 2-stroke work.

He is out by Austin now. I shipped some tires out to him a while back.
I'm sure Patrick can do what ever you need, but Billy Weise is certainly got skillz. I would not hesitate to use either one.

Hey Hutch, Did you end up getting some rubber in for the 50?
I need to get some shoes for both the bikes.

There are a few different aftermarket shocks avail for the NSR.
KYB($300), Takegawa($500), ohlins($800).
Most people are satisfied with a spring/fluid change, but if money's no issue, might as well get the best.
FWIW, Patrick did a awesome job on the nsf suspension.

I'm thinking about a serious upgrade with some if not all the following, or similar. But, I'm sure this will cost me a small fortune.
1)63cc big bore kit
2)head machined out too make the squash as small as possible
3)intake ports redone/polished
4)big bore pipe built for eninge
5)24mm carb kit
6)1/4 turn throttle
7)boysen power reeds
8)SS brake lines
9)daytona digital temp gauge
10)daytona digital tach
11)full floating front brake rotor
12) sprocket specialists rear sprockets (aluminum) sizes 40,42,43,44
13)front steel sprockets 12,13,14,15,16,17
14)gold oring chain
15)new tires

i've been considering ordering a trailtech vapor dash and installing it on my nsr. I picked one up for my 426, but haven't installed it yet due to a serious lack of time. Reading through the instructions, it seems like I'd need about an hour to complete the install.
It has tach, speed, engine-coolant temp, odometer, clock, running time and so on...and I think they retail for $70ish...
but like the MoodMan says...just race the thing!
