:notworthy: Hey guys just wanted to see who is interested for a bike meet tomorrow night around 8 at Star Pizza on Heights Boulevard? I already talked to the manager and he says that we could use the covered area outside to hangout. He also informed me that quite a number of girls come up there during the week. This wont interest Joe or Ivan any. After that maybe go for a ride to Grasshopper downtown and hangout which the manager Forrest wants to start a bike night anyways on Weds nights. The real reason behind this meet is I really want to start up a riding group here in Houston. Basically the premise of this group would to do charity rides, benefits and the plain ol group rides around town. My thinking is that if we could start up a group (ex. Riders of Moto Houston) maybe then we could actually get more respect around town with the law(police, judges, prosecutors) and the general public. From talking to alot of riders around town I noticed a general concern for the welfare of others (Katrina, Troops, disadvantaged kids, the elderly). Why not actually start an established group that makes a difference other than from what a judge called it, "becoming a nuisance to the city of Houston." This group would take in all types of biker (Posers, riders, stunters, tourers, cruisers, mopeds, and even Ivans 50cc). Well tell me what you think no flaming please as I am very serious about this.
