I took my bike (KLR650) to MU Saturday to get a once over before leaving on a 3,500 mile trip through Big Bend, Copper Canyon, Durango, Mazatlan, Baja and Vegas and it was my first time there. Well I think I actually went in there around 2002 looking for a front brake lever when I broke mine at the Old Walter's Road Track.
Anyway, great customer service and I didn't feel like I was getting the shaft.

slight thread jack, sorry.
I will happily sing MU and Patrick's praise any day of the week. They have the utmost competency when working on bikes, they cut people really fair deals and they have remarkable customer service.
I had all of this solidified for me when I had to take the GSXR to a shop here in College Station. I put it off and put it off because I really wanted to get down to MU. I couldnt put it off anymore, and there were no signs of having the time off to get to Houston anywhere in the near future.
So I took the GSXR to this CS shop and just plain felt dirty when I left. The clerks were all rude and barely knew what they were talking about (me:do you have an BMC air filter in stock? them: a what?) and treated me like a nusance more than a customer.
I got the work needed and got my bike back(after paying WAYYYYY too much$$$).
Rode away and my chain was squeking something fierce. Got off and check and the chain had NO tension at all.
Took it back and had them slack it out a little bit. Mechanic was even rude when fixing his own mistake(mistakes happen, we're all human, just handle it with a little more civility.)
All in all I felt pretty sh*tty about the whole experience. Next time I will MAKE TIME to get to MU and get taken care of by the professionals there.
I hope none of you have to have an experience like this to affirm how FUKING AMAZING MU is, but if you do, you'll have a new appreciation for the fantastic business Patrick has going.
Good on ya' Patrick. :thumb:

When I told another MU customer how far I rode to take my bike to MU (East of Baytown ~50 miles one way) he gave me a snicker and asked why I came so far? I said, "To show support to the best moto shop I've ever been to!"
Thanks Patrick, Brandon, and everyone else! Keep up the good work and I'll keep making the ride out to see ya:thumb:
