How’s it going people I know this may sound like your usual noob question but does anybody have any real dyno numbers from different pipes and exst. systems w/ tuning Just wondering if its worth the cash any thing will do but would prefer gsx-r 750 dynos but anything that would help a little would be greatly appreciated.

its' not worth it to spend several thousand dollars for 5 hp to me.. not a 600, maybe a 750 but, def. dont drop any serious money on a 6.

go with D&D or get a hotbodies undertail exaust, the hotbodies looks sick and sounds good too.

I unno, I love my D&D and I love loud bikes.

Arata, Ti Force, Akrapovic, and Sato are the top exhausts in my opinion. Yoshimura also makes a good exhaust. You should get more than 5 hp with a full exhaust and proper tuning on your GSXR-750.

A couple of months ago there was a big article in what I believe was Sport Rider. They took an R6 and put like every freakin slip on in the universe on it and dyno tested it. It was pretty interesting the higher dollars pipes did not make that much more horsepower than the cheaper ones but the power curves were much cleaner. I believe the lowest gain was just over 2 rwhp and the highest was just under 4 rwhp. I think the general consensus will be to get a Yoshimura, good pipe, good sound, good price. Yosh and Suzuki pretty much go hand in hand.

dude our 20th ann. bikes are gonna have great resale OEM . . . no matter what you do make sure you can get it back to OEM. They are going to hold value a lot better than most bikes will. I might get a slip on but im only gonna do that to keep my 20th ann. muffler safe.

i got the yoshi tri oval on mine, but my bike is a 97. and i have dynoed my bike, when i got my jet kit. the results were good. before jet kit i was rollin 112 hp at rear wheel after jet kit, it was 115.5 hp at rear wheel. but it had the pipe on thw whole time. i guess 115 isant really good compared to the new bikes, but for the age of mine it still really moves.

i would say ur best bet is the yosh slip on. its the best bang for the buck b\c its gives u around 3hp gain. also its has a great sound. they also hold up alot longer than D and D. the akrapovic has the same hp gain and sound almost. they last along time 2.

Jake,
The cannister for the '01-'03 GSXR600 is essentially the same as the '04-'05 so if they have a listing for the earliers year it will work on your. If you're interested give SuzAnne a call at the shop and she can get you a price. Don't forget to tell her you're with MotoHouston.

i am pretty sure u r right. i know yosh uses the same can for all the bolt-ons that use the 4 bolt pattern that are suzuki. i mean the part numbers are differnt but the 600 to 1000 use the same can. i dont think scorpin sould be any differnt as long as it will mount it will be fine.
