i agree...these events have been just that in years past. not this year though. there's not much info on the website but it's at txbikeshow.com
updates to the website are being done frequently.

i've been to 2 shows only (one with a booth, the other as a spectator). the quality of the show just didn't compare to the quality in dallas, florida, california, and others.
