Can you pick your own numbers?

For track day, can you just pick your own numbers or do they assign them to you?

ridesmart assigns some adhesive backed construction paper - printed on a inkjet - numbers to you... no matter what you already have on your bike... :eh:

most peeps put making tape on their bike... THEN put ridesmarts cheapy number tag thing over the masking tape... it's kinda low in quality - 50% of have probably flown off the bikes by 1pm... but meh... that's the rules...

but you can put numbers on your bike if you want to @ lstd... :biggthumpup:

Cool. So there's not even a point to putting numbers on there and spending money on Vinyl stickers. I'll just let Ridesmart do it.

They're cheap pieces of paper... I have only used them once and they "accidentally" flew off the first session :tongue5: .

Other than that I have always had my own number. You can just get a sticker and put a # on. Some just do it for posin. :biggthumpup:

That's what I was going to do...needed some poser points. I just didn't want to get some nice number decals only for them to cover it up with crappy paper ones.

If you have your won numbers you are NOT required to cover yours up with the ones they give you. Just when you check in tell them you already have your own.
