JUST WANDERING IF ANY ELSE GOES OUT TO BAYTOWN TO DRAG RACE? I'VE BEEN GOING W/ JUST ME & MY FIANCE, BUT WOULD BE NICE TO MEET SOME OTHER FOLKS TOO. MAYBE LEARN A FEW THINGS FROM OTHERS.

Right now I live 5 minutes from the track. I may go out there and run for the hell of it. I have a few friends that like to run their bikes out there on Wednesdays.

heard the time will make you think your bike is slow because its hard to get teh lauch down. Im not much for the straight line though.

Something to do for fun though. I like straight line shit. Eventually I'll get another bike and build me up a track bike.

believe that! i haven't been able to nail down a real good launch yet. i've only been out there on three occasions, and the first one i only had one pass, 2nd had about 9, and 3rd visit i had 6. on the last visit my "best" :laughing6: 60' was 1.849 w/ the 1/4 ending up at 11.390, best mph on a different pass was 123.44 w/ the air filters off. i got some different main jets today to try out next time and see if there is any improvement overall....maybe i could just catch a good launch!! that would make an improvement!! :laughing6: :laughing6:
