Council to discuss protesting ordinance

PASADENA, TX -- Today, the Pasadena city council is expected to discuss an ordinance which would limit protests in neighborhoods.
This comes after emotionally charged protests involving the shooting deaths of two suspected burglars.
Residents in that community asked city council to try to move these protests be cause they are very fearful that more will happen, following a very disruptive protest earlier this month. The protest caused major disruption at the Village Grove East Subdivision.
Demonstrators packed into the neighborhood, speaking out for and against Joe Horn. Horn lives in that neighborhood and he shot and killed two men.
The men were allegedly robbing the home of one of Horn's neighbors. Some neighbors wanted the protest moved elsewhere. Now there is an ordinance pending that could limit the location of such demonstrations because there is fear that more demonstrations may happen.
Horn is still waiting to see if a grand jury will indict him on the two fatal shootings.
The council is expected to discuss the ordinance beginning at 10am. Stay with Eyewitness News for more on this developing story.

There might have been peaceful demonstrations but that didn't happen! There are loud obnoxious people who don't know how to protest in a calm matter and that goes for both sides of the parties. Like I said and how a lot of people believe. I am neither for or agaist Horn. Nor and I for criminals. Maybe they shouldn't have been killed but the fact of the matter is that they were THEIVES!!! And if they were not stopped somehow then they would continue to steal and only God know what else they have done. I can garuantee that if it was your house you all would feel competely different.
